It might have been nice to mention—and I thought that you were going to at one point—that whilst many people try to put a monetary value on emotional distress, health campaigners ignore the monetary value on the pleasure that, e.g. drugs or alcohol bring (which is, of course, roughly equivalent to what people spent on e.g. drugs or alcohol).
