New York: protecting smack-heads from passive smoke

From Jon Stewart's ever-wonderful Daily Show, a dry look at New York's open air smoking ban. Finally, drug addicts and drunks won't have to put up with the nuisance of traces of cigarette smoke in a park that's bigger than Monaco. Happy Independence Day.

  1. I wonder if cannabis smokers come under the tobacco smoking legislation? After all it can be smoked for health reasons. :)

  2. I guess if you don't put tobacco in the spliff then you should be able to toke away with impunity.

    Christ I'm glad I don't live in New York or California. It won't be long before the respective mayors of NY and SF demand to be called "Dear Leader"...

  3. With the emergence of the Socialist Nanny State in America. It won't be long before the 4th will commemorate "Dependance" day.

    As Obamma says;

    "we can do it."

    The reality of the
    Obamma Nation politics, hinges entirely on what "It" actually refers to. He was always a little thin on that point, being the politician that he is.
